Synopsis

Chile: A Wild Journey is an eight-part series travelling across sky, land and sea that takes us around this long and unexplored country in search of the most fascinating wildlife. In addition to the famous puma and blue whale, more than 80 species of animals were recorded by this team, some of them practically unknown to science and to the rest of the world.

Chile: A Wild Journey - The Special is a one-hour English-language special taking an intimate and classic journey through this wild country. We witness magical moments of nature, from a cougar mother playing tenderly with her cubs to the rare desert flowering, where different animals take advantage of the opportunity the flowers give them.
From Vampire Bats to Blue Whales we see a small sample of the enormous natural beauty of this country.

Episodic Synopses

Episode 1

This chapter tells the team's journey to Patagonia, specifically Torres del Paine National Park, the perfect ecosystem for the country's largest predator: the puma.

Episode 2

In this chapter we will try to find the largest animal that has existed in the history of our planet: the blue whale.

Episode 3

Fighting in the animal kingdom is much more than a demonstration of who is the strongest. In most cases, the fight is the last resort for animals to protect their territory or food, which is the same as safeguarding their option to reproduce and have offspring.

The Chilean fauna is as diverse as the existing landscapes in our country. And our wildlife has evolved for thousands of years with these ecosystems, generating a fragile but perfect relationship.
